Monte Verde Inn sits up in the Sierra foothills above Auburn, and it has this quality that's hard to fake. It feels like a real place, not a wedding venue that happens to exist. Old trees, stone details, a setting that has some age and character to it. Ava and Steffan were a perfect match for it. The whole day had that unhurried, intentional feeling. People who actually wanted to be there, a couple that was completely present with each other. That kind of wedding is the easiest to photograph and the hardest to forget
