The Maples in Woodland is just one of those venues. Big oak trees, open fields, and this warm golden light that shows up right around the time everyone's had a drink and stopped caring about being on camera. That's usually when the best stuff happens.
Emily and Mark's day was full of that. Their people were all in, the energy was warm, and by the time we got to portraits the two of them were completely relaxed and just enjoying it. That's all I ever ask for honestly.
